"EDUCATION FIRST"

"A child, a teacher, a pen and a book
  can change the world"

These words taken from Malala Yousafzai's speech to the United Nations Assembly on July 12, 2013, convey our conviction that culture and education have the power to change the future. The project of We Care For Child Education has the ambitious goal of helping to ensure the right to education for children and adolescents, a prerequisite to form responsible adults and a better society.

In collaboration with Save the Children, we have built a plan of interventions in Italy where our Group has its headquarters, and in other countries of the world where children particularly need support.

    Education and childcare
    in the Solomon Islands

The Solomon Islands are among the least developed countries in the world. The level of education is very low, especially due to the lack of infrastructure, adequate resources and qualified teachers.

During the first year, we aim to build two nursery schools and equip them with furniture, stationery, games and books. We will also refurbish and equip five existing nursery schools. This will enable about 200 pre-school children to receive quality education.
