Palmera, an historical tuna brand founded in Genova in 1963, is one of the best-known tuna brands in Italy today, second only to Rio Mare, another Bolton brand.
Thanks to continuous advertising support, Palmera has built a strong brand image and is widely recognised by consumers as the "Italian style tuna". The Palmera product ranges includes tuna in olive oil, tuna in brine, tuna fillets, dressed tuna and tuna salads.
