Bolton Group is proud to announce that it has reached an agreement to acquire the Italian family business Madel.
Madel has been manufacturing and selling a wide range of Home and Personal Care products in the Italian market for over 40 years and is a leader in environmental sustainability thanks to its flagship Home Care brand Winni’s.
This new acquisition will be completed after approval by the relevant anti-trust authorities and will allow Bolton Group to significantly strengthen its position and become the leading green player in the Home Care market in Italy.
“This new acquisition is part of the company’s strategic plan to grow while respecting the environment, people and the communities in which we operate. Sustainability is a fundamental value that we want to continue to transfer to our consumers through high-quality products” – said Giuseppe Morici, CEO of Bolton Group.
Following the acquisition of Wild Planet Foods in the United States, Bolton Group continues its sustainability-driven growth strategy with the acquisition of a company known for its strong commitment to creating green and high-quality products. Our Group will also acquire important know-how in the research and development of green products and will also strengthen its production capacity with the integration of Madel’s production site. At the same time, Bolton will continue to support the Winni’s, Pulirapid, Disinfekto and Smacchiotutto brands, ensuring solid growth within its target market.
“Madel and Bolton Group share similar histories and values. We are both Italian family businesses that have focused their efforts on bringing excellent quality products into consumers’ homes without neglecting ethical and environmental aspects. Our company is specialised in the production of sustainable products and has been investing significant resources in research and development to ensure high standards of sustainability for our consumers. We are thrilled to have reached this agreement with a company so close to our own and we are sure of the value that Bolton will bring to our brands”, commented Maurizio Della Cuna and Giacomo Sebastiani, respectively President and Vice President of Madel.
